The management team of US Cooperative on International Patient Programs (USCIPP) is at MEDICA in Dusseldorf, Germany this week. MEDICA is the largest global healthcare trade fair. We are here in the USA-CEO Center located in Hall 16. The US Department of Commerce does a superb job of helping US companies to maximize their visibility at the fair by facilitating connections with companies abroad, one-on-one meetings and providing expertise in specific markets.

This is our first opportunity to showcase the consortium of US hospitals. We have taken away a number of great ideas for marketing USCIPP to payers and governments abroad. We have had several great conversations with other exhibitors and attendees about about communicating our projects aims more broadly.

In addition to the US Department of Commerce’s CEO Center, we have two additional high visibility opportunities. Tonight, Steve Meurer will present on USCIPP to over 400 attendees at the USA Reception for US Exhibitors and Foreign Buyers. Molly Allen will participate in a panel discussion focused on using data to improve quality with other e-health experts at a session on Friday.

Many thanks to Nadine Grabowski, our program assistant, for coordinating our visit while here at MEDICA and in Dusseldorf.
